Derrick joined EBNY in 2022 with over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in qualified retirement plans—including 401(k)s, 403(b)s, and defined benefit pensions—as well as health insurance solutions for businesses of all sizes.

He began his career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning from William Paterson University and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. His expertise spans investment planning, compliance, and employee benefits, allowing him to develop customized, strategic solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Motivated by a commitment to long-term financial security and a passion for helping others, Derrick takes pride in providing objective, personalized guidance through EBNY Financial, LLC—a family-owned, independent brokerage.

Outside of work, Derrick is an avid sailor, golfer, and skier. He has competed in the Newport Bermuda Race four times, successfully navigating the demanding offshore route to Bermuda. Whether on the water, on the slopes, or on the golf course, he brings the same focus and adaptability that define his approach to financial planning.
