Derrick Ossi

Derrick joined EBNY in 2022, bringing more than a decade of experience in financial services. He specializes in qualified retirement plans—including 401(k)s, 403(b)s, and defined benefit pensions—as well as employee benefits and health insurance solutions for businesses of every size.

A graduate of William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning, Derrick holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. His work spans investment planning, compliance, and the full range of employee benefits, equipping him to build customized strategies around each client’s specific goals rather than off-the-shelf solutions.

Derrick is motivated by a simple goal: helping clients build financial security that lasts. As part of EBNY Financial, LLC—a family-owned, independent brokerage—he offers guidance that puts each client’s interests first, with no obligation to any single carrier or product.

Outside the office, he’s an avid sailor, golfer, and skier who has completed the Newport Bermuda Race four times, navigating one of offshore sailing’s most demanding routes. On the water, the slopes, or the course, he brings the same focus and adaptability that define his approach to financial planning.
